One of my favorite things about my job is being able to see clients again at repeat sessions. A lot of clients come every year or so to update their photos of their best friends and sometimes they are creating artwork as a surprise for their significant other for a special gift. It’s always nice to plan ahead and have personal artwork created for the holidays….I can just image the look in their eyes on Christmas morning when they open the package….never suspecting that not only has a photoshoot happened and the dogs weren’t actually at the park for a walk…but that their partner or child had been so thoughtful to have the forethought to create such a special gift.
In this case, Baxter was a new edition to a fur family of four that I had previously created artwork for. I was a huge fan of Baxter’s parents and very happy to get the call. Once I heard he was a new edition to the family, I nudged the session date along so that we could capture puppyhood.
I’ve been meaning to share some of his images for a very long time….so without further ado….here’s Baxter.
